Compass Ireland is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Mindi Keane, the visionary entrepreneur behind Mama Nagi's Authentic Raw Indian Chilli Pastes. Since embarking on her entrepreneurial journey in 2015, Mindi has masterfully blended tradition and innovation, bringing the vibrant tastes of authentic Indian chilli pastes to the Irish market.
Inspired by her mother, affectionately known as Mama Nagi, Mindi introduced her family’s cherished recipe - a hot Punjabi chilli paste - to the Irish Market. As the face of the brand, Mindi has successfully expanded Mama Nagi's presence within the Irish retail landscape.
The heart of Mama Nagi's appeal lies in Mindi's heritage, encapsulated in her mother's time-honoured recipe, passed down through generations from India to Uganda, the UK, and now Ireland.
Mindi’s efforts have earned her several culinary accolades, including a gold star at the prestigious Great Taste Awards, gold and silver distinctions at Blas na hEireann and a further three awards at FreeFrom Ireland.
She’s no stranger to being in the spotlight. Mindi featured on Irish Dragons' Den, launching her career as a TV personality. Her regular appearances on the Virgin Media Ireland AM breakfast show catapulted Mindi into a household name.
Recipe Development
Owing to Mindi’s talent for unlocking flavour, Compass Ireland will work with her on a bank of new recipes to feature in units up and down the country. As an added treat, Mindi will host Q&As and pop-ups to promote a range of new exclusive recipes.
